Tea Tree is used in this soap for the antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties. The clay has excellent oil absorbing properties and is known to remove acne causing toxins from the skin.
*New: Clay and Tea Tree is now offered in Lemongrass. Lemongrass is known to have anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, and anti-viral properties. This will benefit inhibiting harmful bacteria to acne prone skin. For the Lemongrass Clay and Tea Tree, it would be especially good for really stubborn acne; it's a triple whammy approach! As with any new product or variation of the product to the skin, use it modestly until your skin adjusts. If a rash occurs, reduce the usage or discontinue use altogether.
*If you do not have oily skin, this product could tend to dry your skin due to the highly absorbent clay.
